Dear Neighbor,

         Imagine a serene, local gathering place in Palo Cedro where the whole community can come together to have fun, play games and sports and have barbeques, weddings, reunions and celebrations.  Imagine a place where people get out of their houses and cars to walk or run on trails.  Imagine a place where kids and grown-ups alike can learn some local history.   The members of the Palo Cedro Community Action Team have imagined all those things and more.

 We have imagined a community park, right here in Palo Cedro.

        Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far.  We have formed a non-profit corporation.  We have acquired a great location, 18 acres on the east side of Cedro Lane.  We already have over $80,000 in the bank.  We have successfully conducted many fundraisers raising over $30,000 in 2005.   We have the support of many local leaders.

  • The grants committee is hard at work seeking grants.
  • The fundraising committee is seeking local donations of funds.
  • Community Members are encouraged to become more active in our efforts.

 Here is how you can help.

  • Become a supporter today by giving to the park.
  • Talk to your friends, relatives and neighbors about becoming supporters.
  • Write a check today, your tax-deductible contribution will help build our community.
  • Pledge an annual contribution.
  • "Leave a Legacy” donation.
  • Have a check stand donation box at your local business.
  • Put your change in the check stand donation boxes.
